Register your companion app
Before the companion app's first upload, it needs this one-time check that a person is behind it. The app opened this page with its install ID filled in. Complete the check and select Register, then return to the app.
What registering stores
- The install ID above, the date you registered and a starting data-quality score for the install. That is all: no account, email, character name, realm or Battle.net details.
- The check is Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs in your browser and may show a checkbox. Cloudflare processes browser signals to tell people from bots, under its Turnstile privacy addendum. QuestRouter receives only a pass/fail token. It checks the token once with Cloudflare, sending your IP address along as Turnstile recommends, and keeps neither.
- You can delete everything uploaded from this install at any time with Delete my data in the companion app. That also removes the registration.
